Dead rebellion? Yeah?
people who call themselves otakus are at least 67% retarded

a majority of me and my friends who watch anime jokingly refer to ourselves as weeaboos and we're still waaaay less cringeworthy dude
Yeah, I heard that the term "otaku" in Japan is actually a great insult. They take offence if someone were to call them by such.
I love anime and all.....
But being an Otaku is not a good thing in japan.
Only weeaboos would think being an Otaku is cool an Otaku is the honorific word of Taku (home).

Otaku is extremely negative in meaning as it is used to refer to someone who stays at home all the time and doesn't have a life (no social life, no love life, etc)

Usually an otaku person has nothing better to do with their life so they pass the time by watching anime, playing videogames, surfing the internet AND NO I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT A NEET!

ITS NOT COOL! its ok to like anime and be fan of it just dont call yourself an otaku and stop saying baka and other words like that YOUR NOT JAPANESE! also Japanese people dont walk around saying there otakus or have colorful hair and colorful eyes or BIG ASS BREAST like all your little anime people do now I wait all your "mean and hurtful words" and dont say I'm a troll f you do then it shows how every thing that disagrees with you is a troll
They do in Harajuku. And the stye over here is a j-pop type fashion, we take the parts of Japan that are well known for being bright coloured, wild and in yo' face, (Japanese adverts are well known for being generally crazy), and it's from these sources that Otakus have taken their inspiration. Otaku in Japanese may mean a bad thing but as far as us English speaking countries etc feel, it just means anime freak. Words do change meaning now and again through translation, just like they do over time.
This group needs more content and members! If there are "Anti-Anime" groups trying to get their messages of hate across, then we need to try and get our positive messages across as well. :3
